AI Training for School Leaders and Boards

School leaders are being asked to make decisions about AI while also running a school. Our leader and board sessions cover what AI actually changes for your district, and give administrators time-saving workflows they can use the next morning.

What AI changes for school leadership

AI is already showing up across district operations. We help leaders and board members understand what it means in four areas:

  • Operations: where AI can take routine work off administrators’ plates, and where it shouldn’t

  • Communications: drafting clearer messages to families and staff, faster, with a human check before anything goes out

  • Hiring: what changes for job postings, applications, and the skills you look for in new staff

  • Workforce readiness: what students need to learn about AI before they graduate

Workflows administrators use the next morning

These aren’t overview sessions. Leaders practice on real administrative tasks and leave with ready-to-use prompts, decision guides, and one-page “Rescue Pages” they can put to work right away.

For example, a principal can turn last week’s notes on a bus route change into a clear family email in English and Spanish, check the facts, confirm no student names are included, and send it. That’s about 25 minutes back on a single task.

Leading the conversation in your district

Many states now expect every district to have an AI policy. Ohio required one by July 1, 2026. A policy is only the start: principals still get asked, “What am I allowed to paste into this?” Our sessions give leaders and board members a shared, practical understanding, so the answers staff hear are consistent across buildings.

If your district is ready to turn its policy into staff guidance, our AI Policy-to-Practice Sprint is the next step.

Responsible use is built in

Humans stay in charge: AI drafts, people decide, and every workflow includes a check step. Our guidance is FERPA-aware, with vendor questions built in. It works for the skeptic and the early adopter in the same room.

Session format

Sessions run 2–3 hours, on site or virtual.
